The Friends of the Library operate the Browsers Corner Book Store, a full-service book store to support the Carson City Library. The store, which is just across the street from the library, has five rooms full of hardcover and paperback books, magazines, DVDs, CDs, videos and more. Everything has been donated by residents of Carson City and the surrounding areas to be sold at bargain prices. Free paperbacks and magazines also are available.

The book store, 711 E. Washington St., is open 9:30 a.m.-6 p.m. every day except Sunday. For more information, call Browsers Corner at 884-4043 and ask for Patti Ferguson or call President Phyllis Patton at 885-9807.
