Nevada Day Art Exhibit seeks regional artists for Oct. 25 show

The Nevada Artists Association invites local and regional artists and photographers to enter it’s 64th Annual “Nevada Day” Art Exhibit at Carson City’s Brewery Arts Center NAA Gallery. This judged exhibition opens Monday, Oct. 27 and runs through December. The show is open to all Northern Nevada and California artist and photographers, NAA membership is not required.

Show Entry Date is Oct. 25, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the NAA’s Brewery Arts Center Gallery. Participating artists are allowed three paintings, photographers are limited to two images. Size limit for entries is 48-inches in horizontal or vertical. All art must be wired for hanging, no saw tooth hangers. Entry fees; NAA members, $10 for first piece and $5 for additional pieces, non-members, $20/$10.

Awards and money prizes will be given for first, second, third and peoples choice. There is no theme for this show, but there will be a “Spirit of Nevada” award to the art or photographic piece that best exemplifies our state.
