Carson City road report for April 20-26:

The following information applies to the period of April 20-26:

Beginning Monday, April 20, there will be a lane closure on northbound Fairview Drive between Butti Way and Walker Drive due to sidewalk improvements. Walker Drive will be completely closed between Fairview Drive and Quinn Drive and detours will be signed. Both of these closures will remain in effect 24 hours a day for the duration of the project, which should last up to two weeks.

On Tuesday, April 21, and Wednesday, April 22, there will be lane closures at the intersection of Goni Road and Arrowhead Drive with flagger controlled traffic. Minimal delays are expected.

There will be a lane shift on Imus Road between Arrowhead and Conestoga drives. Two-way traffic will be maintained.

The Carson City Landfill is upgrading the approaches to the scales at its entrance. Both scales are open, but there will be construction activity in the vicinity. Drivers are advised to use caution when entering and expect some delay.

Due to utility work, there will be shoulder closures on the following roadways:

The north side of Snyder Avenue just west of Bigelow Drive.

Combs Canyon Road just north of the intersection with Timberline Drive (Tuesday only).

The northeast corner of Applegate Way and Northgate Lane (Wednesday only).

The following sidewalk closures will be in place on Monday, April 20:

The north side of Musser Street between Division and Minnesota streets.

The east side of Minnesota Street between Musser and Proctor streets.
