The following information applies to the period of March 16-22:
Due to an ongoing water main project, there will be lane shifts on Roop Street at the intersection with Washington Street between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. weekdays. Access to the Carson City Community Center and Carson Aquatic Facility parking lot off of Roop Street will be limited or not available at all.
On Tuesday, March 17, there will be a traffic shift on N. Lompa Lane just south of the intersection with Northridge Drive and Carmine Street.
Dan Street between Peters and N. Fall streets will be closed to traffic from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday. All driveways will be accessible.
Beginning Monday, March 16, the Carson City Landfill will begin to upgrade the approaches to the scales at its entrance. The inbound scale will be closed. All weighing of both inbound and outbound traffic will be done on one scale. Please use caution when entering and expect some delay.
The following sidewalk closures will be in place for the entire week:
The north side of Musser Street between Division Street and Minnesota Street.
The east side of Minnesota Street between Musser and Proctor streets.
The north side of Proctor Street between Curry Street and Carson Street.
