Reward offered in iPhone theft at Topsy Lane Sprint Store

Douglas County authorities are seeing the identity of a man who took a trio of iPhones from the Topsy Lane Sprint Store 8:25 p.m. Dec. 16.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, the man entered the store and started looking at the phones on display. He told the clerk he wanted to upgrade his phone.

He then pulled out a pair of wire cutters and cut the metal cord on the phones, setting off the alarm.

He ran from the store with the phone and got into what was described as a blue Nissan 350z driven by someone else.

A reward is being offered for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the man. Callers will remain anonymous.
