Sparks apartments see upgrade

Peak Capital Partners, a Utah-based apartment investment and management company, said it has completed improvements on Banbridge, a 128-unit apartment community in Sparks.

Banbridge was acquired by Peak in November 2014.

Recent improvements to the property included new siding, updated painting, new concrete stairwells and new parking lot asphalt. The company did not disclosed the dollar amount of the improvements.

“Rapid job growth in Sparks has and will continue to bring more amenities to the city,” said Chris Manning, a managing director at Peak. “Tesla’s construction of its $5 billion gigafactory is driving this growth, and when operational in 2017, the plant will employ thousands of people.”

According to Peak, Banbridge is located near various attractions including downtown’s Victorian Square, Hometown Farmers Market, and is a five-minute drive from the Sparks Marina Park.

On the east side of the marina sits the 148-acre Legends at Sparks Marina Outlet Mall, which features 1.3 million square feet of retail, outlet stores, dining and entertainment options.

Banbridge is located three miles east of Reno and offers one-, and two-bedroom units. The community utilizes the Low Income Housing Tax Credit federal housing program to make rent affordable to lower-income households. Amenities include a clubhouse with complimentary Wi-Fi, fitness center, BBQ and picnic areas, covered parking, and park-like grounds and landscaping.
