Education achievements: Carson High grad named to dean’s list at Bates College

Kylee Johnson, a 2013 graduate of Carson High School, was named to the dean’s list at Bates College for the semester ending in April. To make the list, students must earn a grade-point average of 3.71 or higher.

Johnson, a major of classical and medieval studies, is the daughter of Susan E. and Michael R. Johnson of Carson City.

Carson City woman honored at Gonzaga University

Callen Aten of Carson City earned a spot on the Gonzaga University President’s List for the spring 2015 semester. Students must earn a 3.7 to 4.0 grade-point average to be listed.
