The army of loafers, sneak-thieves, opium fiends and bummers is gathering again in Reno, and the jail is kept crowded all the time. An average of 15 have slept there every night this month and have been fed by the taxpayers. Some of these men are ready for any bad deed, so long as it is not too dangerous. — Gazette
