Reader looking to shed light on white cross in Dayton
In Dayton, on the face of the Virginia Range north of Highway 50, there is a white cross. Queries to the Dayton Historical Society about its origin have drawn a blank. It is a mystery.
Does anyone have any information on who, when and how? I think I can figure out the why.
