Helen Hankins received the California Trail Interpretive Center’s Volunteer of the Year Award at the volunteer appreciation luncheon on Oct. 24.
Other award recipients included: Bill Nisbet and Chuck Sanders, second and third place for volunteer hours served at the center; Spencer CdeBaca, landscaping project award; Rob Richter, building maintenance award; Billie Phillips, temporary exhibit award; and Owen Boyack, living historian/reenactor award.
