Renown Regional Medical Center and Renown South Meadows Medical Center have earned the Healthinsight Quality Award from HealthInsight, a private, nonprofit organization that’s focused on improvement of health care in Nevada, New Mexico and Utah.
The recognition is based on a combination of publicly reported Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services quality-of-care measures and patients’ perception of care measures.
The two Renown hospitals were the only northern Nevada institutions to be recognized. MountainView and Southern Hills hospitals in Las Vegas also earned the award.
