Scott Carey has been named events and community relations manager of the Nevada 150 Planning Committee, a group that’s organizing the state’s Sesquicentennial celebration.
Carey, who has more than 12 years of experience in economic development and tourism, previously was tribal planner of the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe.
