Kaepernick’s protest widening divisiveness in country

It should come as no surprise that many NFL players and teams are supporting Kaepernick’s misguided disrespect of the American flag and police officers.

The majority of the NFL players are men of color, many of whom have been repeatedly disciplined by the NFL for criminal/illegal activities detrimental to the sport.

Granted, all types of human abuse should be stopped, but disrespecting the American flag and wearing disgusting “pig” socks is not the way to do it. An offshoot of Kaepernick’s action is that it is widening the separation in our country that is already sadly divided. God bless America.
