Jersey Mike’s Subs will open at its second Northern Nevada location at 537 South Meadows Parkway in Reno on Wednesday, Sept. 20.
Franchise owners Mark Antis, Jeff Healy, and Maureen Healy, will hold a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, September 20 to Sunday, September 24 to support Double Diamond Elementary School. Then from Monday, October 1 to Sunday, October 8 they will hold a free sub fundraiser to support Damante Ranch High School. Jersey Mike’s is circulating 17,500 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $2 contribution to Double Diamond Elementary School and Damante Ranch High School. Customers must have a coupon to be eligible.
“This is a nice community that is growing fast" said Antis in a press release. "I was initially attracted to Jersey Mike’s because of the people in the company. Then, I ate my first sub and I was hooked!” Prior to Jersey Mike’s, Antis was an operating director and franchisee for another restaurant chain.
Started in 1956, Jersey Mike’s now has 1,500 restaurants open and under development nationwide. This year, Jersey Mike’s was named the country’s fastest-growing Limited Service Chain and fastest-growing sandwich chain in the 2017 Nation’s Restaurant News Top 100.
