Nevada State Bank announced April 13 it hired Tony Garcia in the role of Vice President, Corporate Relationship Manager for the Reno Corporate Banking team.
Garcia has 12 years of banking experience, including a strong background in corporate banking in the middle market space, according to a press release.
He has also worked as a senior private banker in the wealth management department of a large, national bank and held other positions including senior private banker, senior portfolio manager, and underwriter.
“I’m excited to have Tony join our team in Reno — he’s a talented relationship manager who brings solid experience to his role, including a well-rounded knowledge of the financial industry,” Rick Thomas, Northern Nevada Executive for Nevada State Bank, said in a statement.
A native Nevadan, Garcia received a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in Accounting from the University of Nevada, Reno. He’s an avid Wolf Pack fan and enjoys following all Nevada sports events.
