Travis Hansen, CCIM, of Dickson Commercial Group recently achieved the SIOR industrial designation awarded by the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors.

Hansen began his brokerage career in 2012 and joined Dickson Commercial Group in 2017, according to an April 15 press release. In 2015, Hansen completed the requirements to earn his certified commercial investment member (CCIM) designation.

Hansen attended the University of Nevada, Reno. He is an active board member of First Tee Northern Nevada and currently serves as the Board Chair.

“I feel grateful to have earned my SIOR designation and join the ranks of some of the best and most respected brokers in the country and look forward to continuing to serve my company and clients to the best of my ability,” Hansen said in a statement.

SIOR is a Washington, D.C.-based international professional organization of more than 3,400 commercial real estate professionals who have earned the coveted SIOR designation. To achieve the SIOR designation, Hansen completed at least five years of creditable experience in the highly specialized field of industrial real estate; met stringent education requirements; and demonstrated professional ability, competency, ethical conduct, and personal integrity.

Individuals who hold the SIOR designation are top producers in the commercial real estate field and are represented in more than 685 cities in 36 countries around the world. SIOR enforces a strict code of ethics and requires designees to complete its ethics course within their first three years of membership.

“We’re very proud of Travis in his recent designation with SIOR. The organization is something that we hold in high regard and is a network of professionals who exemplify much of what we strive for in our company,” Tom Fennell, CCIM and Principal with DCG, said in a statement. “We feel fortunate to have another one of our brokers associated with SIOR and everything that comes along with it.”
