RSCVA wins pair of 2021 MarCom Awards

The Reno-Sparks Convention and Visitors Authority recently earned platinum and gold honors in the 2021 MarCom Awards.

RSCVA earned a Platinum Award in the Digital Media/Social Media for its “Reignite the Night in Reno Tahoe” neon social video and a Gold Award in the Strategic Communications/Marketing/Promotion Campaign category for its “Recharge in Reno Tahoe” marketing campaign, according to a Dec. 2 press release.


“The (RSCVA) team’s hard work throughout the past year has been recognized among the best marketing and communications programs in the country,” President and CEO Charles Harris said in a statement. “(RSCVA’s) marketing and communication efforts are a reflection of the Northern Nevada spirit, and the consistency and perseverance this destination embodies as we welcome visitors returning to travel.”


Per the release, MarCom Awards recognizes outstanding achievement by creative professionals involved in the concept, direction, design and production of marketing and communication materials and programs.


This year, MarCom Awards received more than 6,000 entries from across the world, selecting winners from over 300 categories in Print, Web, Video and Strategic Communications.
