Diamond Concrete Cutting LLC recently purchased a 5,600-square-foot office/industrial building at 100 Menezes Way in Lockwood, east of Sparks, that will serve as the company’s Northern Nevada headquarters.

Nevada State Development Corporation assisted with financing for the $800,000 transaction in conjunction with Wells Fargo Bank, according to a Feb. 1 press release.

“We have seen our market share grow steadily in the Northern Nevada market, and this purchase sets us up well for continued expansion,” Diamond Concrete Cutting owner Thomas Ruetten said in a statement. “We are quite unique in that our business has grown purely organically for the past 25 years without any formal advertising or marketing. We’re confident that we’ll be able to provide excellent service to our customer base moving forward.”

As a concrete subcontractor, Diamond Concrete Cutting provides service and labor to other commercial subcontractors and general contractors throughout Nevada.

The business specializes in saw cutting, break and removal, and concrete flat work. The firm’s customer base is composed primarily of general contractors, plumbers, electricians, and other subcontractors.

“We are particularly pleased when one of our valued clients returns to us to secure another SBA 504 loan, and that is the case with Diamond Concrete Cutting,” Sandy Gordon, vice president/business development officer with NSDC, said in a statement. “The company’s Southern Nevada location, at 80 Corporate Park Drive in Henderson, was purchased in 2004 through the SBA 504 loan program, and that property has been a success for the business. We see nothing but further success for the firm in both locations.”
