Kevin Hickey was recently named business development specialist for Nevada Rural Housing Authority’s Home At Last program. Hickey is responsible for fostering Home At Last business partnerships and serving as an informational resource for potential homeowners., according to a press release.
Since 2006, the homeownership program has implemented affordable housing initiatives, allowing low- to moderate-income families to experience homeownership, often for the first time. Hickey comes to Home At Last after a 25-year career in the airline industry as a brand ambassador and onboard leader for American Airlines.
He also served on the company’s Technology Flight Attendant Involvement Team, where he helped develop, test and roll out new technology.
Hickey holds a Bachelor of Science in communications from East Carolina University. He is a volunteer for Cub Scout Pack 149 in Las Vegas as the Tiger Den Leader.
Previously, Hickey served as a Champion in the Champion’s for Children program at United Nations Children’s Fund for 15 years.
