Carson Valley Medical Center begins the next phase of its multi-year, multi-million-dollar expansion project on Monday, starting with visible changes to the exterior of the hospital buildings.

Center Chief Operating Officer Shannon Albert said parking may look a bit different in the coming months as the next phase of construction on the hospital’s expansion project begins.

“To accommodate the construction, some parking areas will be blocked for traffic, but although parking patterns may be different than our patients are used to, we will continue to have our closest and most accessible parking spots available to patients for their convenience and safety,” Albert said.

Construction begins on the main hospital campus in early May, while renovations on existing buildings in Minden and Gardnerville have been underway since October 2021.
