Kingsbarn Capital & Development is beginning construction on a 140-unit “garden-style” multifamily development on Little Lane. The Carson City mayor and planning staff visited the site Thursday for a groundbreaking ceremony.
Mayor Lori Bagwell said that she’s glad to see a Southern Nevada company recognize the benefits of doing business in Carson City.
The complex, “The Marlette,” will have 10 two-story buildings with 14 units each. Common areas include a 3,000-square-foot clubhouse, fitness center, dog park, a family playground, and a swimming pool area complete with cabanas, firepit seating, and an outdoor kitchen for resident use.
Kingsbarn expects the first units to be complete by early 2023. They’re hoping to get a waiting list of residents to lease the units before they complete building.
