People: Par Tolles joins Volunteers of America’s board of directors

Local business leader Par Tolles has joined the Volunteers of America’s board of directors. Tolles has been the CEO of Tolles Development Co., since 2016 and has focused on developing office, retail, industrial, and multi-family properties in Northern Nevada.

Beyond his professional achievements, Tolles has demonstrated a strong dedication to addressing the housing and shelter needs of Reno's residents. He has collaborated with VOA as the co-founder of the Village on Sage Street and chairman of the fundraising committee for the Nevada Cares Campus.

"It is essential that we follow through on this shared commitment and not accept progress as good enough," Tolles said. "We can solve this challenge if we stay the course."
