People: Emily Moore joins PBS Reno

PBS Reno has hired Emily Moore for the role of executive assistant and board liaison.

Moore brings operations and human resources administrative experience from Urban Outfitters, Inc. Additionally, she was the office administrator for Oberon Design and Manufacturing in San Francisco, and a service representative at 3 Rivers Federal Credit Union in Fort Wayne.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in business administration from the University of Nevada, Reno, where she served as a student mentor to assist 500-plus freshmen with transition into their university experience.

As executive assistant and board liaison, Moore will assist the president and CEO of PBS Reno and interact with the board of trustees and community partners who work with PBS Reno daily to meet the needs of the public media station and its audience.
