IN THE SECOND JUDICIAL DISTRICT COURT OF THE STATE OF NEVADA

IN AND FOR THE COUNTY OF WASHOE

IN THE MATTER OF THE ESTATE OF

CAROLYN S. REDMOND, aka

CAROLYN SUE REDMOND,

Deceased

Case No.: PR23-00057

Dept. No.: PR

AMENDED NOTICE OF HEARING ON PETITION FOR PROBATE OF WILL, FOR APPOINTMENT OF PERSONAL REPRESENTATIVE, FOR ISSUANCE OF LETTERS TESTAMENTARY, FOR AUTHORIZATION TO ADMINISTER ESTATE UNDER THE INDEPENDENT ADMINISTRATION OF ESTATES ACT WITH FULL AUTHORITY AND FOR FULL ADMINISTRATION

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Loretta Redmond has filed in this Court her Petition for Probate of Will, for Appointment of Personal Representative, for Issuance of Letters Testamentary, for Authorization to Administer Estate Under the Independent Administration of Estates Act With Full Authority and for Full Administration.

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that a hearing has been set for March 8th, 2023, at 10:00 a.m., in the Probate Division of the Second Judicial Court, 75 Court Street, Reno, Nevada. This hearing will be conducted by conference call only. Any person who wishes to be heard on this matter shall obtain the public dial-in-number and Meeting ID by visiting https://www.washoecourts.com/Probate, or by calling (775) 328-3100 at least two days in advance of the hearing.

All interested persons are notified to appear and show cause why said Petition should not be approved. Reference is hereby made to the Petition for further particulars.

The petition requests authority to administer the estate under the Independent Administration of Estates Act. This will avoid the need to obtain court approval for many actions taken in connection with the estate. However, before taking certain actions, the personal representative will be required to give notice to interested persons unless they have waived notice or have consented to the proposed action. Independent administration authority will be granted unless good cause is shown why it should not be.

The matter will be approved without further hearing unless an objection is filed. You do not need to appear unless you wish to object.

Affirmation Pursuant to NRS 239.B.030

The undersigned hereby affirms that the preceding document does not contain the personal information of any person.

DATED this 1st day of February, 2023.
