People: Sandeep Randhawa named chief people officer for Renown Health

Renown Health has named Sandeep Randhawa as the first chief people officer for the organization.

As the chief people officer, Randhawa will lead the human resources function and continue to develop the purpose-driven culture that supports the personal needs and well-being of Renown’s more than 7,000 exceptional physicians and associates.

He will oversee best-in-class talent management programs focused on hiring, training, and managing the performance of the workforce, ensuring that Renown’s values are reinforced with every strategic objective.

Randhawa comes to Renown Health from Common Spirit Health, where he served both as system vice president for Human Resources Transformation and Integration, and as southwest division vice president, chief human resources officer.

Prior to that, he served as vice president, human resources for Dignity Health in Northern California. Much of his leadership career has been dedicated to serving healthcare organizations ranging from hospitals and ambulatory clinics to post-acute care sites and medical group enterprises throughout Arizona, California, Nevada, and southern Utah.

Randhawa will report directly to the president and CEO of the system and serve as a member of the president’s council.
