PAM Health opens LTACH inside Saint Mary’s

PAM Health and Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center have announced a partnership to reintroduce much-needed LTACH services to the community.

The 21-bed unit opened on Oct. 24, expanding access to vital post-acute services for chronically or critically ill patients in the Northern Nevada region who need ongoing complex care after discharging from a short-term acute care hospital.

With this collaboration, PAM Health and Saint Mary’s fill a void in the care continuum and in doing so significantly benefit patients in further need of intensive clinical care.
