McDonald Carano, LLP announced Katrina Weil has joined the firm’s Reno office as a member of the Commercial & Complex Litigation Practice and the Appellate Practice.

Before joining McDonald Carano, Weil served as a judicial law clerk for Justices Linda Bell and James Hardesty of the Nevada Supreme Court.

During law school, Weil served as an extern for Judge James Mahan of the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada, Las Vegas.

While earning a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Business Administration, Weil was on the Big Sky All-Academic Team and was a four-year NCAA Division I student athlete and a member of Women’s Golf for which she served as team captain.

Weil earned a Juris Doctor, cum laude from the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, and a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Business Administration from Idaho State University.
