People: Phil Mannelly named partner McDonald Carano

McDonald Carano has welcomed Phil Mannelly to the partnership of the firm.

Mannelly joined McDonald Carano after earning a Juris Doctor in 2016 and a Master of Business Administration in 2012. Previously he served as a judicial extern to Larry Hicks with the U.S. District Court, District of Nevada.

Mannelly is co-chair of the Construction Law & Litigation Practice Group and a member of Commercial & Complex Litigation and Employment & Labor Law Practice Groups.

He serves as a gubernatorial appointee to the Public Works Board for the State of Nevada and is a member of the Board of Trustees of ACE High School.

Mannelly is recognized as a Rising Star in Mountain States Super Lawyers Magazine and a Top Rank and Best Up & Coming Attorney in Nevada Business Magazine.

Mannelly received first place in the Up & Coming Business Person category in Northern Nevada Business Weekly’s 2022 Best in Business contest.
