People: Karley Pardue and Lakota Jaussen join PBS Reno

Karley Pardue

PBS Reno has hired Karley Pardue for the position of administrative assistant and Lakota Jaussen for the position of broadcast content operator.

Pardue brings five years of teaching experience from the University of Nevada, Reno, where she taught multiple sections of English composition as a letter of appointment faculty.

She also earned her Master of Fine Arts in creative writing from the university in 2020.

Jaussen brings six years of experience in broadcast journalism from KTVN 2 News in Reno, where he served as a digital content producer. He also worked at Truckee Meadows Community College as an IT student worker overseeing the setup and operation of audio/visual equipment for college events.
