People: Bethany Rasmussen named funeral director and embalmer

Autumn Funerals and Cremations announced Bethany Rasmussen has been named funeral director and embalmer.

In her new role, Rasmussen will be responsible for meeting with families to plan and execute burial and cremation services as well as preparing decedents.

Prior to her role at Autumn Funerals and Cremations, Rasmussen served as a funeral director and embalmer at another funeral home in Northern Nevada, and prior to that, was in the Sacramento and Colusa areas.

Rasmussen has a strong background in funeral services with 10 years of experience.

In 2013, she earned a degree from American River College with honors majoring in funeral service education. Rasmussen is a member of the California Funeral Directors Association and the Calvary Chapel in Carson City.
