People: Rachelle Rene assumes position of chief behavioral officer

Northern Nevada HOPES announced Rachelle Rene will assume the position of chief behavioral officer.

As chief behavioral officer, Rene will be responsible for leading and overseeing HOPES’ behavioral health services and programs, including MAT, the Intensive Outpatient program, psychiatry, adolescent therapy, and individual, couple and family therapy.

Rene is a licensed clinical health psychologist, who is board certified in biofeedback and group psychotherapy and is a fellow of the American Group Psychotherapy Association.

She has extensively worked in the field of integrated behavioral health providing clinical services and program development in community mental health, school-based, primary care and military settings.

Rene has a vast resume in leadership positions, where she has integrated behavioral health services in over 60 primary care clinics for an academic health center in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Her most recent position as chief behavioral health officer was for a federally qualified health center in San Diego, where she implemented a number of integrated behavioral health programs across primary care, dental and school-based clinics as well as San Diego County specialty mental health clinics.
