Court Appointed Special Advocates accepting board applications

CASA of Carson City is currently accepting applications for positions on its board of directors. Two board positions are currently open.

CASA (court-appointed special advocates) volunteers are appointed by the Juvenile Court to advocate in court for children who have been removed from the home due to abuse or neglect.

Board members should have an interest in children and the time and willingness to help make a difference. Board terms are for two years.

Board applications are available by contacting CASA of Carson City either through the Web site at www.casaofcc.org or by calling 882-6776.
