Angela Hicks, 82 and a 22-year resident of Carson City, died July 13, 2000 at Carson Convelescent Center.
She was born July 12, 1918, in Fresno, Calif., to Joseph and Maria Morris Ramos.
A Catholic, Mrs. Hicks came to Carson City in 1978 from Hayward, Calif., and worked as a social worker for a convelescent center.
She was prceded in death by her parents and by a grandson, Corey Hicks.
Survivors include a son, James Hicks; a daughter, Arlene Keller of Carson City; four grandchilden, and four great-grandchildren.
Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
The Northern Nevada Memorial, Burial and Cremation Society of Reno and the Sierra Crematory are in charge of arrangements.
