Obituary: Billy "Izzi" Isbell

Billy "Izzi" Isbell, 70, a Northern Nevada resident for 22 years died Monday, Nov. 20, 2000 at his home in Carson City. He was born Sept. 12, 1930 to William and Dovey Hall Isbell in Abilene, Texas.

He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War, and lived in Hawaii before moving the Nevada in 1988.

He worked as a dealer at the Carson Valley Inn Casino for 19 years. He is survived by his companion, Rose Di Marzo of Carson City, sons Donald, of Elk Grove, Calif., and Bryan, of Reno, and three grandchildren.

A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at FitzHenry's Funeral Home in Carson City. Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory. A memorial fund is being established with Vista Care Hospice, 5190 Neil Rd., Reno, NV 89502.
