Obituary: George White Moore

A funeral for George White Moore, 85, a Carson City resident for the past 10 years, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church.

Mr. Moore died Sept. 7, 2000 at his residence. He was born March 19, 1915, in Paducah, Ky., to George and Scottie White Moore.

Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Yuma, Ariz.

Mr. Moore was a retired systems analyst at Lockheed. He was a past member of the Shriners in Arizona and a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church.

He served in the U.S. Army during World war II.

Among his survivors are his wife Willie Mae and sons William F. and David M., all of Carson City; sister Alma Collins of Cupertino, Calif. and two grandchildren.

Burial will be at Walton's Carson Gardens.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Crematory and Cemetery is in charge of arrangements.
