The Bureau of Land Management has scheduled a meeting of its Sierra Front-Northwestern Great Basin Resource Advisory Council for the end of this month.
the meeting will be held in the BLM office in Winnemucca Jan. 27-28 beginning at 8 a.m.
Thursday's session will include a field trip to the Sleeper Mine north of Winnemucca to review mine closure issues. The public is welcome on the trip as well as the meeting but will have to provide their own transportation and lunch.
