Helen Carrie Wiemer, 103, a Carson City resident for the past six years, died Nov. 21, 1999, at Nevada Healthcare Center. She was born Feb. 10, 1896, in New York, to Fred and Ida Clemons Orvis.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Pacific Grove, Calif.
Mrs. Wiemer was a homemaker. She was a longtime member of The Salvation Army Auxiliary in Pacific Grove and active in church organizations. She was a member of Mayflower Church in Pacific Grove.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Otto E., in 1965, in Dearborn, Mich.
Among her survivors are her sons, Stan, of Carson City and Walter E., of North Carolina and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
An inurnment will be at a later date in New Jersey.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
