The service will be in the Bill Hutt Aviation Hangar, No. 1 Airport Road, in Minden.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The City of Hope, National Medical Center, 1500 E. Duarte Road, Duarte, Calif., 91010.
Mr. Wass died Monday in the crash of a fire tanker which had just completed a pass over the Cannon fire in Walker, Calif.
