The 19th Annual Governor's Industry Appreciation Awards program is currently accepting nominations for 2003 honorees and the "Distinguished Business Award." The awards give public welcome to new businesses moving into the state as well as special acknowledgements to existing businesses with substantial growth.
The 2003 awards ceremony is scheduled for October 9 and will be co-hosted by the Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada and the Northern Nevada Development Authority in cooperation with the Nevada Commission on Economic Development.
EDAWN and NNDA are currently seeking event sponsors.
Nominations are due by June 20.
