James C. Watson, 72, a Gardnerville resident for the past seven years, died Aug. 20, 2005, at his home. He was born April 28, 1933, in Iowa.
Mr. Watson was a design engineer.
He served in the U.S. Marines for four years.
Among his survivors are his wife of 50 years, Ramona; children Christine Dimmitt, Vincent Ng and Jolyne Wells; sisters Jolyne Burgett and Georgine Emshoff; brother, Claire Watson; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Walton's Douglas County Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
