Brad Woodring has joined Sierra Pacific Power's economic development department.As the utility's economic development executive, he will be responsibile for helping attract new companies to northern Nevada, especially to Reno suburban areas and rural communities.
For the past 10 years,Woodring worked with First American Title Co.
of Nevada in Reno, where he was vice president in charge of the national commercial services division for the northern Nevada region.
A native of Colton, Calif.,Woodring moved to Reno from southern California 22 years ago.
He earned a bachelor's degree in communications from California State Polytechnic University in Pomona, Calif., in 1979.
