Fred Turnier

Fred R. Turnier was named community

development director for the

City of Fernley.

Previously, he served as the

director of planning for the

City of Reno. Turnier also has

worked as planning manager

for an engineering firm in Las

Vegas, as vice president of a

21,000-acre industrial park in

Las Vegas and as principal planner for the City

of Las Vegas.

Turnier holds a bachelor's degree from the

University of Nevada, Reno, and a master's

degree in public administration from the

University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
