R. Llee Chapman has been appointed chief financial officer of Gryphon Gold Corp.
Chapman served included regional vice president of Newmont Mining Corp. and as chief financial officer for Barrick Goldstrike Mines Inc., Knight Piesold & Co. and Apollo Gold Inc.
Chapman was founder and managing director of a financial consulting business focused on the mining industry.
Chapman received his bachelor of science degree in accounting from Idaho State University and is a certified public accountant.
