Carson City Health Department’s food-service inspections for Feb. 25. All scores are on a 100-point scale, with points deducted depending on the severity of violations:
Applebee’s, 3300 S. Carson St., scored 100 points.
Carson High School, central kitchen, scored 100 points.
Carson High School, Senator’s Cafe, 1111 S. Saliman St., scored 100 points.
Eagle Valley Middle School, cafeteria, 4151 E. Fifth St., scored 100 points.
Dunkin Donuts, 2190 E. William St., scored 99 points. There was no weather stripping on the rear kitchen door to close an approximate half-inch gap to the floor.
Carson High School, snack bar, 1111 S. Saliman Road, scored 98 points. Cookware was dirty, and there were dirty dishes in the hand sink. Utensil containers and the popcorn machine were not clean inside.
IHOP, 3883 S. Carson St., scored 97 points. A certified food handler was not on duty.
