Vertex Energy Inc. of Houston says it expects to close on its acquisition of a plan near Fallon that recycles used motor oil during the second quarter.
The Bango Refining plant , which Vertex has contracted to acquire from Omega Holdings Co., was damaged in an explosion in December. Vertex says the plant needs to be successfully restarted before the acquisition can proceed.
