Elko contractor fined

Heartwood Homes LLC of Elko was fined $3,500 by the Nevada State Contractors Board.

The board also reduced the company’s license limit to $200,000 and ordered it to pay investigative costs after finding that Heartwood commited violations that include acting beyond the scope of its license, diversion of funds and failure to completed a project for the price specified in a contract.
