Spanish Springs Construction was awarded a $891,444 contract from the City of Sparks 2015 street rehabilitation program. The work includes removing and replacing deteriorating curb and gutter, driveway approaches, sidewalk ramps and reconstructing the roadway with new asphalt on various locations.
Sierra Nevada Construction also won a $424,007 contract for the 2015 preventive maintenance program. The work includes applying two million square feet of roadways in Sparks with slurry seal treatments.
