The Washoe County Board of Commissioners awarded Garden Shop Nursery’s Landscape Division with a $209,995 contract to revamp North Valleys Regional Park. The project includes new rubberized surfacing at the playground and relocation of the playground equipment to meet safety standards.
The board also awarded a $396,444 to Spanish Springs Construction for the Sun Valley West Second Avenue sidewalk project. The project includes construction of a storm drain system, sidewalk and pedestrian ramp.
