Ichiban Japanese Steak House officially reopened last week inside the Eldorado Resort Casino at THE ROW in downtown Reno.

The popular restaurant, which has been a Reno fixture since first opening in 1980, closed last year after the shuttering of Harrah’s Reno, where it resided for 15 years.

According to previous reports, the same Reno-based owners, management, chefs and staff are running the new-look restaurant inside the Eldorado.

“After 40 years in business, we are excited about this new chapter in our company's story and thrilled to be part of THE ROW offerings,” owner Sophie Hartley said in a statement.

The restaurant 11,000 square feet, featuring 140 Teppanyaki table-style seats along with a sushi bar and cocktail bar. It’s open Thursday and Monday, beginning at 5 p.m. and Friday through Sunday, beginning at 4:30 p.m.

“Ichiban is an excellent addition for our guests and a wonderful fit for our brand,” Regional President and General Manager of THE ROW, Glenn Carano, stated. “We are excited to make it a part of our family at the Eldorado at THE ROW and bring this unparalleled Teppanyaki Japanese Steakhouse dining experience back to the heart of Reno.”
