Helix Electric on May 3 announced the promotion of Michael Vita to senior vice president.
In the new role, Vita will head expansion and growth efforts for the company’s offices in Las Vegas, Reno and Salt Lake City. Vita will also be tasked with increasing Helix’s client base and executing the company’s annual strategic plan, among other roles, according to a company press release.
“Michael has been an asset to our team for the past 15 years,” Victor Fuchs, president of Helix Electric of Nevada, said in a statement. “He is the ultimate team member, unconditionally embracing that we work better and can accomplish more together, rather than individually. He is an exemplary leader and has been instrumental in several large business developments, including the establishment of our offices in Reno and Salt Lake City. This promotion is well-deserved and I look forward to Mike’s continued success with our company.”
Since joining Helix in 2006, Vita has held numerous roles within the electrical contracting company, including Vice President, Operations Manager, Senior Project Manager, and Project Manager.
Prior to starting in his initial position with Helix, Vita worked for Benderson Development in Buffalo, N.Y., and Vita Electric in Las Vegas. Vita, who’s called the Las Vegas Valley home for more than 35 years, is also a member of the International Association of Electrical Inspectors.
